A qualified interpreter is one who demonstrates proficiency in both English and the other language, can accurately convey complex medical information, follows ethical standards, and is familiar with relevant medical terminology.
How to ask for these services
Contact our Civil Rights Coordinator and HIPAA Officer. You do not need to explain why you need help, and there is no charge.

How to file a grievance with us
If you believe we have failed to provide these services, or discriminated in another way on the basis of race, color, national origin, age, disability, or sex, you can file a grievance with our Civil Rights Coordinator and HIPAA Officer using the contact information above. You may file in person, by mail, by fax, or by email. If you need help filing a grievance, our coordinator will help you.
How to file a complaint with the federal government
